If there were ever an individual worth remembering, it was Mike Anderson.

To know Mike was to love him.  I don’t recall anyone ever saying a bad word about him during his entire life.  Not one.

Generous to a fault, if there were such a thing.  A smile that could slay a thousand hearts.  Fiercely loyal and loving to his family and friends.   He had a brilliant mind that was outshined only by the purity of his heart.   Competent and funny and dedicated to excellence.   Always thinking of others.  A presence that filled a room without saying a word.   He was patriotic.  He loved animals.  He was always thinking of others first.  He earned the respect of anyone who knew him simply by being himself.

I will never understand why his life was taken from this earth so early, when he was doing so much good for so many.  But it’s my sincere hope this Foundation will carry the beauty of his spirit forward  into the world  for a while longer.  I think he would have liked that.
